Parents,
We have been learning about Old
MacDonald’s Farm and ways to protect our environment this week in class. We
milked a cow (glove), made Baa Baa Black Sheep’s wool, drew pictures of our
favorite farm animals and made farm animal puppets. We recycled bottles and
cans and read books about various ways to recycle at home. The culminating
event was a trip to DC Durrence Farms in Glennville, Georgia. We picked
strawberries, went on a hay ride and ate a picnic lunch with parents and
